Women's Impact Network (WIN)

NLS's WIN program provides free legal assistance to women in sudden economic distress

Are you recently widowed, divorced, disabled, or separated? Are you facing a sudden job termination or economic crisis as a result of domestic violence? Have you lost your child, spousal or alimony support? Have you been denied benefits or are you being evicted due to a sudden loss of income? There may be a solution to help you get back on your feet again. The Women’s Impact Network (WIN) project works to foster long-term economic stability by partnering with agencies that provide women with job search training, financial counseling, and education, temporary housing, or emergency funds to address the immediate crisis in addition to needed legal services. This project is funded through the YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh/United Way of Southwestern PA and the Interest on Lawyer’s Trust Account (IOLTA). When calling about your problem, mention WIN so NLS can determine if you qualify for this project which has different income guidelines.
