Professional Experience

Stacy Harris Slater is a staff attorney in the Bridgewater office located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

She is a former guardian ad litem in Beaver County.  Her responsibilities included representing dependent children before a conference officer or a Common Pleas Court judge.  She has been a speaker at seminars and conferences regarding the role of a guardian ad litem.

Currently, she represents clients in public housing/subsidized housing cases and in chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases. Mrs. Slater has been employed at Neighborhood Legal Services since 1991.

Education

Stacy Harris Slater earned her juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1990.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987.
