Mary Ann Troper-Malley is a paralegal for Neighborhood Legal Services who began her career as a secretary and received on the job training from dedicated NLS attorneys. Mary Ann’s primary area of responsibility is recruiting and working with volunteer attorneys to represent plaintiffs in protection from abuse cases.  She is responsible for scheduling the volunteer attorneys, processing the referred cases and forwarding them to the volunteer attorneys.  She also assists these attorneys with problems and follow-up.  She provides support and reporting for the Continuing Legal Education courses conducted periodically by Neighborhood Legal Services.   Mary Ann also assists in referring unemployment cases, bankruptcy cases, and credit card litigation cases to the private bar.  Her work in these areas over the past forty-four years has led to the establishment of long-standing relationships with volunteer attorneys and law firms committed to providing equal justice for all.

Mary Ann attended CCAC for legal secretary and paralegal courses.  She obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Pennsylvania State University.
