2016 Pittsburgh Sports Report Spring Round-Up

NLSA’s 50th Anniversary
Featuring Hall of Fame Celebrities and Special Guests To Celebrate Fifty Years of Sports Excellence

The Gridiron Gold Production Team is back in action, creating another exciting night for Pittsburgh sports fans! We are preparing for the 3rd Annual NLSA Spring Sports Roundup to be held on May 10, 2016, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh. We are also very pleased to announce that Ralph Cindrich and Morgan O’Brien are serving as Honorary Co-Chairs for this event which will also celebrate the agency’s 50th anniversary serving this region.

The NLSA Spring Sports Roundup and NLSA 50th Anniversary Celebration will recognize an exceptional athlete or event related to Pittsburgh sports for the fifty years that NLSA has been serving western PA. This will include our championship teams – Pirates, Steelers and Penguins, as well as Pitt Football. We plan to honor the following:

The 1971 World Series Champion Pittsburgh Pirates
Jimbo Covert – Pitt grad and member of the Bears Super Bowl Champion team in 1985
The DeBartolo Family – 1991-1992 Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins
Alan Faneca – 9X All Pro and Super Bowl Winner with the Pittsburgh Steelers
The 2006 and 2009 Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers

In addition, our traditional outstanding line up of Sports Roundup media personalities and celebrity athletes will share their opinions – and more than a few inside stories – with our guests to answer the questions all sports fans have regarding the Pirates 2016 season, Steelers draft outlook, Pens playoff prospects, and the Pitt spring football/2016 season.
